Gas Analyzers

Bulky analyzing equipment does not need to be directly attached to whatever tubing is delivering gas to the patient. They are quick to respond to changes in gas concentration. They are more efficient and portable than sidestream monitors. They are less likely than sidestream monitors to suffer from interference. They are capable of analyzing anesthetic gases, in addition to oxygen and carbon dioxide.
